What’s included

Comprehensive UK insurance and breakdown cover

Insurance for 1 named driver aged 25-70 is included in our standard hire cost, we can arrange insurance for additional drivers. EU insurance and breakdown cover can also be included at additional cost.

Mileage of up to 200 miles per day

This is averaged over your whole trip, for example 1400 miles over 7 days. This has proved enough for most UK trips, but please contact us if you think you’ll need more.

Bathrooms

All our motorhomes have bathrooms with toilet, shower, sink and bathroom cabinets.

Cooking and Dining

All our motorhomes have kitchens with hob, oven or grill, sink and fridge. All your basic kitchen essentials such as; a whistling kettle, mugs, glasses, plates and bowls, knives and forks, pans and cooking utensils, are included.

Storage

All our motorhomes have wardrobes and cupboard space. Most of our motorhomes have a full width garage so you even can bring sports equipment. Our Auto Trail Tracker RS has less garage space but makes up for this with lots of internal storage.

Motorhome essentials

We include a hook-up cable for power, a hose for filling your tanks with water and ‘toilet blue’ which you will need for the cassette toilet. We also include Calor gas to operate gas appliances and levelling blocks; you will need these if you park on a sloping pitch.

Other facilities

All our motorhomes have hot and cold water in the kitchen and bathroom, plus heating throughout and also include a TV with DVD player. We are not currently offering towels or bedding.

Al Fresco

We include outside tables and chairs, also a single-use barbecue and stand.
NOTE: We are not currently including BBQ’s due to government restrictions.

Car Parking

You are welcome to leave your car with us, free of charge, in our gated parking area.

NOT included

We don’t provide bedding or towels; please bring your own.

Cleaning is not included in your hire cost. Please return our motorhome in the same clean condition you received it, to avoid inconvenience to the next hirer and potential deductions from your deposit.

Getting to know your motorhome

Our virtual handover videos show you how everything works in your motorhome. We’re still happy to answer any questions and run through specifics when you collect. The video is great to refer back to if you forget anything. There is also a motorhome information pack in the vehicle for you to refer to.

We had an amazing week away in the Chausson 514 3-berth motorhome last week. The experience from Kathye from start to finish was a dream, helping us with tailoring a collection and return time that suited our plans. The process was very well explained and we received fantastic communication if we needed help. The virtual handover video was particularly helpful - explaining everything you need to operate the motorhome. The motorhome itself was very clean, well presented and exceptionally well equipped - we wanted for nothing whatsoever during our trip. For our holiday, my wife and I decided to take a motorhome excursion to Scotland (to travel sections of the NC500) at short notice as the weather forecasts were looking promising but of course Scotland is always unpredictable and plans changed during the actual trip. Our planning started with some internet research for providers near to our home location and we identified Vista Motorhomes as an option. Their website gave very good details on their range of vehicles together with the availability and as the location was within 30 minutes of home we took up the offer to visit them to see our vehicle selection (a 3 berth Chausson 514 with "permanent" double bed layout). We were able to discuss plans and receive some good insights on our proposed trip although we found that the information provided on the website was very detailed and accurate. Kathye talked us through everything about the hire, inclusions and available additional options which made us feel very comfortable such that we made a firm reservation and completed the booking later the same day. We were impressed by the quality of the vehicle and the range of "housewares" included allowing the cooking of a variety of meals to be planned.  Bedding was excluded which suited us but of course mattress and mattress covers were in place. Being just 2 of us we never needed to make up the third berth leaving good flexibility for seating and table space. The vehicle has an enclosed toilet/shower arrangement however we used campsite showering facilities in the main but the toilet was used during travels. The procedure to remove, empty, clean and refresh the toilet cassette was easy to follow and a clean process. Likewise topping up with fresh water and discharging grey waste water at the campsites was made easy with our selected vehicle. Our overall trip of approximately 9/10 days was thoroughly enjoyable with the arrangements and ease of pick up (available parking of our car at their premises) to the return as scheduled after topping up fuel and a pressure wash at the local garage. All was good and our thanks to Kathye for making the full experience a pleasure to the point that my wife and I are already discussing a similar holiday next year. Good communication and the provision of a quality service are priorities for Kathiye as evidenced in the virtual handover videos which enable a timely collection.
