Travelling to Europe - Vista Motorhome Hire

If you’re planning an adventure beyond the UK, you can take any of our motorhomes to any EU country. Please let us know at the time of booking, as our standard insurance and breakdown cover is not valid outside the UK.

Select the EU-hire option when booking, and we can provide the following in addition to the standard UK hire package.
• Comprehensive EU insurance cover for 1 driver
• EU breakdown cover
• VE103: Vehicle on hire certificate

We will also provide the following equipment which is commonly required when driving in Europe
• High visibility reflective jackets (enough for the maximum number of berths)
• Warning triangle
• Headlamp beam deflectors
• UK sticker
• First aid kit

We will ask you to tell us which countries the vehicle will be taken to and through.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not allowing our motorhomes to be taken to Germany for Euro 24

It is your responsibility to check the specific requirements for the countries you are travelling to and through, and bring any additional equipment required. For example, breathalyser kits required for driving in France. You should also check the requirements for your personal documentation and make sure you have these with you.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were fortunate enough to hire a 6 berth motorhome for the weekend (15th March 2024) to get a feel of camping life!
From booking through to returning the vehicle, the process was fast and very thorough. Kathye was very flexible on collection and return times as we were having it for such a short period. We left our car there in a very safe, secure parking space.
The motor home was immaculate and kitted out perfectly. There was a washing up bowl which include dish washing liquid, handwash and kitchen towel. Plus pegs and a line for drying things.
The fridge/freezer was huge and plenty of storage space.
We went as a family of 4 with two teenagers. Both my husband and I were insured to drive, and both enjoyed driving. We would highly recommend Vista and most likely do it all again.

Easy booking and nice to find somewhere local we could go and have a look around first. Kathye was welcoming and helpful and provides everything needed if it’s your first experience like it was ours. Kathye made the process very easy.
We had regular emails re:fees/insurance etc. from her.
The vehicle we had was just over 7 years old and was in fab condition inside and out. It had everything we needed for a comfortable break away.

We took the three-berth pet-friendly motorhome even though we didn't have a pet and it was immaculate and a perfect size for two. The kitchen was good enough to cook full fresh meals from scratch every day, the fixed double bed was surprisingly spacious and comfy and the bathroom/shower was roomy.
Everything was simple to use - we only needed to watch the on-boarding video once - and we went from nervous novice campers to wild camping addicts in a week. We're already planning our next trip. We would definitely recommend hiring from Vista.

Throughout the planning stage, the support and advice provided by Kathye was outstanding. We were impressed from the outset by the choice, standard and condition of the different units available all of which are fully kitted out, except for personal bed linen, for adventuring. The owners where lovely to work with and had several options of motor home dependent on the number of births required. All the motorhomes were in immaculate condition. The one we chose came with everything you would require for a holiday other than bedding and linen which is understandable. Full instructions were given by a link to a you tube video, recommended, and paper copies of instructions were supplied with the motorhome. The extra deposit to cover breakages was returned to my account as promised. The property is completely secured so I had no worries leaving my vehicle when I picked up the motorhome. There are probably cheaper companies to work with on the Webb, but with Vista you are ensured of excellent service, a lovely clean and reliable motorhome and personnel contact right up to the day of departure, if required. It really did make for a wonderful weeks break and if I haven't bought a motorhome by next year I will certainly use Vista again.
