Photo Driving Licence
All drivers must be present when you collect and bring their original photo driving licence (for non-photo licences, another form of photo ID is required). The licence must show the driver(s) correct current address (we can’t insure drivers whose licence has an incorrect or out-of-date address).
2 forms of proof of address
In addition to their driving licence, hirers and drivers need to provide 2 separate forms of proof of address at collection. Documents must include the hirer/driver’s name, address, and a date, this should be less than 90 days old at the collection date.
Examples proof of address accepted by our insurers are:
Electricity bill/statement
Gas bill/statement
Water bill/statement
Mobile phone bill
Broadband/landline bill
Bank Statement
Credit card bill/statement
Council tax bill
TV licence
Mortgage statement
Polling card
HMRC self-assessment/tax credit
Payslip (including address)
Pension letters
Car Finance Statement
Loan Statement
The name and address on the licence must match both proof of address documents.
